The guidance we provide below is for information purposes only and could be subject to change at very short notice. Please keep checking this page regularly before and on the day of travel to ensure you’re up to date with any changes or new restrictions that may apply to your flight. We also recommend you keep checking the latest UK Government COVID-19 guidance before you travel, and the guidance provided by the relevant public authorities of your destination.
Whilst mask wearing is no longer required by law, your safety remains our highest priority. We’re committed to making your journey as Covid-secure as possible which is why we still require you to wear a mask during your flight. Here’s how we’re keeping you safe.
Our daily cleaning routine is in line with the latest official COVID-19 guidelines. High-touch surfaces are cleaned regularly and hand sanitiser is available onboard and throughout the airport.
For a safer and quicker boarding experience, we recommend you check-in online, download your boarding passes and print them before you arrive at the airport. If you are unable to do so, however, the flybe check-in desks are open as usual.
Everyone over six years of age must wear an approved face mask covering both your nose and mouth, when boarding and whilst onboard the aircraft, even if you’re fully vaccinated. You won’t be able to board your flight without one.
Face masks must be worn for the duration of the flight and should only be removed for a short time in order to each and drink. You must replace your face mask one this activity is complete.
If you are exempt from wearing a face mask
If you are exempt from wearing a face mask because you have a medical condition or a disability that prevents you from wearing one, or if you’re assisting someone with such a condition, you must bring a medical certificate or doctors letter which states this clearly, and you must be able to provide this when asked.
Make sure you have the right type of face mask
You need a medical-grade mask or a fitted face covering (reusable or disposable). Face coverings such as scarves, snoods, balaclavas or similar items are not allowed, and you will not be able to board your flight wearing one of these items.
Social distancing at the airport and onboard
As your safety is our number one priority, we ask you to observe social distancing guidelines in the airport and during boarding where possible. We recommend checking in online before heading to the airport.
Use of the toilets onboard
During your flight, we ask you to minimise your movements around the cabin and remain seated where possible. To avoid queuing, please ensure that the toilet is vacant before leaving your seat.
COVID-19 Travel Requirements
For international travel, it is your responsibility to know and understand the rules that apply to you relating to COVID-19.
If required by the country to which you are travelling, flybe will check your vaccination status and compliance with any testing requirements before travel. You will not be permitted to board your flight if you fail to comply with the rules in force, which may change at short notice.
Please ensure that you check the latest entry rules as follows.
